Summer 2025
The Department of Transnational Asian Studies offers a comprehensive selection of courses designed to give our undergraduates an overview of the geography, history, people and their movements, and cultures of Asia. Many of our courses are also cross-listed with other departments and/or offer distribution credit, making our courses strong choices for majors and non-majors alike.
Did you know that courses not listed as ASIA might still count toward the Asian Studies major and minor? If you are interested in a course covering Asia-related topics being offered in another department, reach out to our Director of Undergraduate Studies, Steven W. Lewis, to have it approved for ASIA credit.
